No matter what time I go to bed, I’m usually up at 4:35am. The sound of the moon wakes me up. First thing I do is I roll over and I kiss my lady on her cheek. I tell her, I love her.
I stumble out of bed because I have to warm my right foot up. It’s kind of like, you know, an old 76, with a carburetor. I go and kiss the dog and hug the dog and then I put my shirt on. I go get a cup of water because water is very important as soon as you wake up, it gets your vital organs working.
Sometimes I fool around and take a bath in the morning. I like a cold invigorating shower, it keeps all the bad pesticides away.
I’m not a breakfast guy, sometimes I have a bowl of cereal here and there. I’m more into like, if there’s leftover Indian food, I’m eating that. I’m not a coffee guy. I wake up with so much energy, I don’t need it, I’m wired. I woke up on 7 million today. I vape hash out of a very beautiful vase. It’s like a very gorgeous, handmade glass vase and it’s more of a ritual. It’s like a peace pipe, 20 times a day.
What’s a normal afternoon? I go over to the studio. I paint a lot. What kind of stuff do I paint? I like making living things a little bit disturbed and a little bit warped. I like flowers, I like arranging flowers. I don’t want to disclose the type of car I drive, but it’s the make and model is very standard. I keep everything fancy in the garage. It doesn’t move. I’m sick of driving nice cars.
You know, I’m listening to a lot of music. My favorite artists are from Africa in the seventies. I really love all kinds of music, but you know, Afrobeat, Brazilian. I don’t know. It gets me moving, gets my blood going.
Normal lunch for me, I’ll have a little cheese, a little wine, some olives. Maybe I’ll take like four or five shots of olive oil. It’s just like shots of wheatgrass. It’s just another thing to give you nourishment and healing powers.
I’m constantly on UFC TV, watching old MMA fights. I just love hand-to-hand combat as an animal, which I am. You just have that instinct in you and then you hug it out afterwards. It’s no beef. Instagram I’m good at, I wouldn’t say I’m good at it, but I know how to use it. It’s like Street Fighter II, I wasn’t great at it, but I knew how to use it. I was better at Mortal Kombat.
I write all kinds of things. I write recipes. Every single rap I’ve ever written has been handwritten by this right hand, never the left. Have you ever tried to write a rap on a computer? It’s weird first of all, you need a pen and paper. I was typing this rap out on my word processor.
Din din? Usually I have din din whenever I feel like it. I try to eat before nine. You know, I don’t know why. Recently I had a little [inaudible] that’s when you smother it in onions, you know. No breading on the chicken, just in some beautiful olive oil. Then I like to throw the cilantro right into the oil, so that essence permeates the entire area. Then lemon, salt, pepper, it’s a situation.
I get no phone calls, usually no texts. Nobody likes me until the day of my show. A couple of days prior, then everybody’s my best friend. Pre-show, I try not to talk to anybody, but it usually doesn’t happen. I’m free as a bird when I’m on stage. There’s no focus, I’m focusing on making sure I sing from the diaphragm and that’s it.
Sometimes I host parties, small parties, gatherings. I don’t like people cause they don’t clean up after themselves. They always leave me to do it like I’m going to clean up. My schedule is all kinds of all over the place. I can be in bed at seven at night. I could be in bed at four in the morning. I can be in bed at midnight. I could be in bed at noon.
Do I vape right before bed? I vape as much as I possibly can. I sleep beautifully through the night. I get my full six hours, five sometimes and I’m ready to go. We don’t need more than that. I don’t want to waste time and that’s everything I do in a day.
