Describe what you do: I’m the Artistic Director of Dynamite Studios. Dynamite Studios is a dance and performing arts school on the northern end of the Gold Coast.

Established in August 2007, Dynamite’s focus on student development, teamed with its premium line-up of teachers and guest choreographers, has seen it grow and transform into a unique, multi-faceted performing arts business. Its program includes a wide range of quality casual classes, nationally accredited Certificate and Diploma courses and on-site distance education for school-aged students.

On the side I am the creative director of Evolution Agency a boutique talent and entertainment consultancy agency. Located in beautiful sunny Gold Coast. Providing high end talent and creative entertainment. Engaging and unforgettable experiences with Australia’s leading models, dancers, singers and specialty acts.

And more recently I have started a brand called living your best life with my business partner Erin O’Flaherty. We have a podcast and online business courses where we focus on ways to inspire and engage with entrepreneurs and other like-minded people to live out their best lives.

How do you like your coffee: Soy cap.

Device(s) you use: I use a Mac 15 inch, Macbook pro laptop, iPhone X.

Describe your working style in one sentence: I like to get my body moving every morning to start my day and a slow start allows me to have breakfast with my family. I head to the office at about 10am where I pretty much hit the ground running.

I do long days as our business operates all day and into the night. Most nights I’m home around 8pm. I’m very hands on with all of our businesses and like to be present and across all of them.

What does your workspace look like: We have just recently renovated it and added some new fun features. We have opened the space up (less clutter), allowing more light and added a pink feature wall giving loads of personality and colour to the room.

Do you have a favourite playlist for work: RnB Fridays.

Who would you like to nominate for the next workflow interview: Jade Barnes.
