In this edition of Workflow, we have freelance writer, editor and content producer Lisa Cugnetto talking about being a lists lady and having a beautiful home office that is absolute goals!

Describe what you do: I’m a freelance writer, editor and content producer. I work with a range of businesses, organisations and publications helping them with their copy, content, editorial and communication needs. I also recently became a first-time mum to my daughter Sofia.

How do you like your coffee: On an average day, I enjoy a soy flat white. Though when I am light on sleep, a double shot espresso is the go.

Device(s) you use: I keep it simple with devices – I use my trusty MacBook Air and an iPhone.

Describe your working style in one sentence: I’m a lists lady – I start with emails and then tuck into my first allocated task for the day, gradually working through what needs to be done, usually with client or team phone meetings, planning sessions or admin thrown into the mix as well.

What does your workspace look like: I work from home so I tend to move around. Depending on my mood and what I am working on, this may see me work at my desk, outside on the back verandah or at the kitchen table. Wherever I am working, I will always have my laptop, phone, and a notebook and pen in reach, with music playing in the background.

How does your workspace affect your creative process: I tend to find if my workspace is messy and chaotic, so is my headspace. I think moving around and working in different corners of the house allow helps my creative flow.

Do you have a favourite playlist for work: I can’t go past In the Pines with Johanna Roberts on FBi Radio.

Who would you like to nominate for the next workflow interview: My friend and fellow writer & audio producer, Sabine Brix.
