Describe what you do: I’m a Content Marketing Specialist for a small digital marketing agency based in Orange County, CA. Essentially, I help enhance the name and online presence of the company across several social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. (Yes, I get paid to make TikToks and Instagram Reels, which is amazing).
In my role, I get to coordinate, plan, create and publish content that reaches designated audiences while ensuring that the content is educational, inspirational, and meaningful, as well as relatable. I even get to build relationships and enhance my skills and knowledge along the way, so my role is pretty great and fun, to say the least!
How do you like your coffee: To start off, I love coffee. I usually make my coffee at home, which consists of AT LEAST three shots of espresso. I usually like to add a bit of sweetener and some frothy milk on top to give it some extra excitement and flavor (if you haven’t tried frothing your milk, you’re missing out).
If I’m out and about, it usually depends where I’m ordering. If I’m going to my nearby Starbucks, it’s usually a blonde triple-shot espresso over ice with almond milk & sugar-free cinnamon dolce + vanilla syrup!
I’m very much an 80% coffee + 20% flavor type gal, so where the strength is at, that’s where I’m at!
Device(s) you use: My beloved MacBook Pro that holds all my designs, my Apple Watch & my handy-dandy iPhone 12 Max. They are all so essential to my work and content creation. They are definitely used to their highest abilities with me and are never left unloved.
Describe your working style in one sentence: Collaborative, creative, and caffeinated. Although all three are intertwined someway, somehow, caffeine is where it all starts. From there, I’m definitely more collaborative and creative. Once my caffeine starts flowing, so does my work and creative juices.

What does your workspace look like: My workspace is an organized mess. It basically consists of a 5-foot desk that carries all of my work necessities and materials onto one side of my room.
I am very much a stationery hoarder as well. Pens, markers, highlighters, notepads… you name it, chances are I got it and I have it somewhere on this desk! I can never have enough storage for any of those things, but I also don’t have enough storage to keep that storage haha.
However, I am a person that loves memorabilia, especially photos and letters. My pegboard that sits above my desk is filled with many memorable and meaningful things that give me a sense of peace and happiness. It gives me a personalized and wholesome feeling that I can’t really get anywhere else.
How does your workspace affect your creative process: My workspace affects my creative process quite a lot, to be honest. Working at home has definitely taken a negative toll on my creative process, especially with all of the distractions and my comfy bed only being a few steps away.
Being in an environment or space where there is some hustle and bustle going on around me (ie: a cafe, library, office, etc.) always boosts my workflow and my creative juices. It is honestly tough to find times in my home where I could be absolutely productive and have my head directly focused on my work with no one around me. With cafes opening back up in my area, I have been able to visit them again and feed into my workflow productivity and café nostalgia.
Quite ironically, however, there are times where I just want to lay on my couch in my pyjamas, turn the TV on in the background, and just create what I need while no one else is there to distract me, but those moments are rare and become a quick nap time.
Do you have a favourite playlist for work: I don’t have a specific favorite, actually. Depending on the day, I may be feeling a mix of 90’s/2000’s R&B and Hip-Hop. Other days, I’ll crave for some upbeat indie. Some days, I’ll listen to the same five songs I listened to the day before, which are merely a mix of the genres mentioned.
With the sun being out more nowadays, I’ve been listening to some more upbeat indie to give me some more serotonin. A good ol’ whopping 12+ hours of it, to be exact.
Who would you like to nominate for the next workflow interview: One of the hardest workers I am so proud to know – Alexandre Torres, Account Coordinator at Rocket Launch Marketing & PR.
