In this edition of Workflow, we have Alex Muench, Product Designer at Doist, talking about how he works at a fully-remote company and surrounding himself with nature.
Describe what you do: We are a fully-remote global company and create tools that promote a calmer, more balanced, more fulfilling way to work and live: Todoist, a task manager, and Twist, an asynchronous team communication app. I work as a product designer on our products.
How do you like your coffee: Cappuccino with oat milk.
Device(s) you use: MacBook Pro 15 inch, iPhone 11 Pro, iPad Pro, AirPods, Apple Watch
Describe your working style in one sentence: Focused, effective, collaborative and supporting our team wherever I can.
What does your workspace look like: My setup is very simple and minimalistic. Usually I only have my laptop on a small stand on an empty wooden table.
How does your workspace affect your creative process: I would say a lot. Anything that is not needed on my desk distracts me. I also enjoy when I have a window near me with a lot of natural light and I can look into nature. It has a positive impact on my wellbeing and creativity.
Do you have a favourite playlist for work: Electro Pop.
Who would you like to nominate for the next workflow interview: Charli Prangley.
