Workflow with Angie Stavros, Group Sales Manager at PodcastOne Australia

In this edition of Workflow, we have Angie Stavros, Group Sales Manager at PodcastOne Australia, talking about downing two strong skinny lattes in a row.

Partner up with Balance the Grind to showcase your brand’s story and promote healthy work-life balance. Get in touch with us about sponsorship opportunities.

Describe what you do: PodcastOne Australia is the leading commercial podcast platform in Australia. We co-create premium, original content together with Australia’s leading talent. Audio on demand continues to enjoy growth in audience numbers and in client interest. My role is to connect clients to the valuable, engaged podcast audience via host read, exclusive, integrated partnerships.

How do you like your coffee: Skinny latte, strong, two in a row.

Device(s) you use: MacBook Pro, Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 250 studio headphones, “not the latest” iPhone, iPad for my Netflix downtime and a paper notepad and pen.

Describe your working style in one sentence: Organised, structured and chaotic. I’m a big list writer; I start my day with every intention of completing all tasks on my to-do list, only to have a longer list by the end of the day.

What does your workspace look like: Currently working from home, with two teenagers remote learning, we had to get creative on use of space around the house. Not wanting to “hang with mum”, I get to work alone in the family study nook whilst the kids share the study room. It’s not a bad deal, I have loads of natural light and the warmth of the fireplace (and the fridge only a few meters away).

How does your workspace affect your creative process: My workspace is “busy” but functional. As the area is an actual desk, I have access to everything I need to help get my work done. I also have a cork board wall where I pin all the images and photos that inspire me and put a smile on my face.

Do you have a favourite playlist for work: I’m all about podcasts. I love listening to new episodes of our podcasts as soon as they get released. Like most Australians working from home at the moment, I have been bingeing on podcasts all day.

Who would you like to nominate for the next workflow interview: Molly Condon.
