In this edition of Workflow, we have Anthony Mitchell, Chief Potential Officer of Bendelta, talking about his Canon Mark IV, his creative time in the morning and Stevie Wonder.
Workflow is an interview series by Balance the Grind to get a glimpse into people’s working styles and workspaces. If you’re interested in sharing your workflow, submit it here!
Describe what you do: I’m the Chief Potential Officer of Bendelta, a boutique management consultancy focused on realising human potential. I’m also the Chair of Aurora Education Foundation, which provides academic pathways for high-potential Indigenous scholars.
How do you like your coffee: Just a flat white at 6am. I look forward to it every morning, but that’s all the caffeine I’m allowed!
Device(s) you use: That would be my Apple 11 Pro (love those three camera lenses), my Lenovo Think Pad, and then an iPad for reading novels at night. But my most favourite device is definitely my Canon Mark IV – that connects me with travel, family, beautiful landscapes and exotic animals, new cultures and people, exploration and discovery – things I love deeply.
Describe your working style in one sentence: At my intellectual peak from 5am-9am, then all downhill from there! I like to run engaging workshops in the morning, have conversations in the afternoon, then shut off from work by 5.30pm and focus on my children.
What does your workspace look like: Since we moved to activity-based working, I have gone from the messiest desk ever seen to never having anything left on it at the end of the day. It shows that there’s no habit-breaker better than having absolutely no choice!
Do you have a favourite playlist for work: So many that I love, but hard to go past Stevie Wonder Essentials, what a genius.
Before you go…
