Describe what you do: I’m the Director of Business Operations at Mechanism Ventures, a startup studio that helps founders fund, launch, and scale companies.
I work on everything from launching growth channels, to building websites, to improving internal operations, to hiring great people.
I’m also the Founder of Life Reimagined, an organization dedicated to helping 10 million people live a more fulfilling life.
How do you like your coffee: I love coffee in all of its beautiful forms, but most days, I make coffee with a French Press and add 2% milk. If I’m feeling spunky, I’ll go to a local coffee shop and get a latte.
Device(s) you use: I have a 15-inch MacBook Pro and connect it to a Phillips 27-inch external monitor. I also use a white Apple Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse. For headphones, I use Apple EarPods or AirPods Pro.
Describe your working style in one sentence: You only have 4-5 productive hours every day – make them count.

What does your workspace look like: I traveled the world for years with just a MacBook Pro, but I recently settled down and upgraded my workspace.
Now, I have a 60-inch Fully Jarvis Standing Desk, a 27-inch external monitor, an Amazon Basics desk chair, and a Topo standing desk mat. I also have a Muvman Sit-Stand Stool for when I get tired of standing but don’t want to sit down in a normal desk chair.
I recently bought a mini-fridge that’s stocked with healthy drinks and snacks. It saves me when I’m on a long string of calls and need some quick energy.
How does your workspace affect your creative process: The state of my workspace reflects the state of my thoughts and work. If my workspace is messy, my thoughts are messy. So I try to keep my workspace relatively clean with little to no clutter. I also keep books, notebooks, and a whiteboard nearby in case I want to brainstorm and capture ideas.
Do you have a favourite playlist for work: I really dig Young and Free and Lo-Fi Beats on Spotify. If I really want to zone in, I’ll throw on a Focus track from Brain.fm.
Who would you like to nominate for the next workflow interview: Steph Smith.
