Describe what you do: I’m the internal events manager for the Aussie business. Aussie has a full yearly schedule of events for lenders, brokers and partners and this role is the linchpin for the internal stakeholders, external stakeholders, event agencies, suppliers and staff.

I’m currently developing some new event structures and formats that will create a streamlined briefing system so we as a team, can be super agile and efficient with all the activity we have coming up.

How do you like your coffee: Small and strong (3/4 latte).

Device(s) you use: Ok, my entire life is owned by Apple so here goes: MacBook Air, iPad, Apple Watch (life changing in an event world) iPhone, AirPods plus a HP work laptop. So quite a few!

Describe your working style in one sentence: Fast, firm and fun. I have no time for fluff so I am very to the point, if you’re trying to make an event successful its much easy if everyone is straightforward as it avoids any mistakes and we can make sure that the event is hitting the targets for everyone, it’s all about balance when it comes to delivering events (hit objectives & be engaging)!

What does your workspace look like: Paper-less (where I can), very neat and tidy, I struggle with clutter as its a big distraction when you’re busy, but I live for a notebook (A5 with lines obviously).

How does your workspace affect your creative process: A lot, I like music on (either via a speaker or AirPods) which not everyone else loves but music really helps me focus. Anyone who knows me knows when I say ‘I’m in the zone” means I’m plugging in with my headphones for a while and try not to break my concentration while I’m heads down into a run sheet.

Do you have a favourite playlist for work: Yes, I’ve been creating a playlist called Gin & Tonic on my Apple Music account (again, I know) and its a good chill out mix including Post Malone, Massive Attack, Khalid, Dave Matthews Band, Ruel, Hayden James and many more.

Who would you like to nominate for the next workflow interview: Alice Rodgers.
