Describe what you do: I am the Founder & Creative Director of Sunstone Studio, a design studio based in Manly, Australia. I have 7+ years studio experience across print, branding, art, Illustration, web, digital, product & textiles. I am also a freelance illustrator/artist having exhibited at numerous galleries and undertaken commercial work.
How do you like your coffee: Hot, cheap (I make my own) & early in the morning.
Device(s) you use: MacBook Pro and a large Mac display screen.
Describe your working style in one sentence: My working style is very relaxed but also very focused. I make sure my days are very balanced, always making time for a walk or meditation.
What does your workspace look like: Very clean, a lot of natural light with plenty of plants. I also have a little bunny who pops around to say hello every now and then.
How does your workspace affect your creative process: My workspace plays a huge role in my creative process. I generally start my projects with a clean desk which gives me a clear mind, ready to start brainstorming on whatever I’m working on. People who I work with being in the office is also great as it’s always good to have a second point of view and bounce ideas around.
Do you have a favourite playlist for work: Depends on what mood I’m in. Mondays are generally slow acoustics while Fridays are more upbeat getting ready for weekend!
