Workflow with Katie Robbert, CEO of Trust Insights

In this edition of Workflow, we have Katie Robbert (nominated by Brooke B. Sellas), CEO of Trust Insights talking about having her dog snoring at her feet for productivity.

This conversations is brought to you by SolidGigs, the best freelance jobs, hand-picked & delivered daily. Trade your worst clients for some of the best companies in the world with SolidGigs.

Describe what you do: I am the co-founder and CEO of Trust Insights. We are a marketing and data science consultancy I oversee the growth and strategy and work to bring AI to the masses in a consumable way.

How do you like your coffee: In abundance. Hazelnut if available, but generally medium roast with non-dairy creamer.

Device(s) you use: I use my MacBook Pro and Android Phone to conquer the world.

Describe your working style in one sentence: Organized, a bit OCD, and transparent – I don’t like surprises or loose ends.

What does your workspace look like: Lots of dog hair. It’s otherwise mostly clutter-free except for some fidget toys (I can’t sit still during meetings) and lots of wires. Sometimes I work from the kitchen or the deck if I need a change of scenery.

How does your workspace affect your creative process: I can’t work if my desk is disorganized and I can’t focus if my dogs are not snoring at my feet. If those things are out of place I get super distracted.

Do you have a favourite playlist for work: It really depends on the day. Sometimes it’s a “deep focus” playlist, other times it’s metal, punk, or R&B.

Who would you like to nominate for the next workflow interview: Gini Dietrich, CEO of Spin Sucks.
