Describe what you do: Marketing and communications is my heart and soul. Developing and building the Sand Society brand within the beach accessories market in Australia.

We’ve recently transformed our product into a more eco friendly towel. Each towel is now proudly made up of 20 plastic bottles. We are passionate about providing the market with a beach towel that has both our consumer and the planet in mind. We’re always looking for new ways to innovate and continue to build the Sand Society brand with new products.

How do you like your coffee: Almond Latte, Short Black – no sugar!

Device(s) you use: Apple Watch, AirPods, iPhone 11 Pro, Dell Laptop.

Describe your working style in one sentence: My working style has become more and more flexible since COVID-19 which I am really enjoying! I do like to keep a little structure throughout my day when it comes to looking at tasks and getting the work done. I find I work best when I dedicate set windows to really get my head stuck into the nitty gritty – this is where my best work is done and I can completely immerse myself into the task at hand.

Every day is different, and more so now than ever I am jumping from calls, emails, Zoom calls and continuous virtual chats. Whilst working virtually has been a huge change, in some ways I am connecting on a deeper level with colleagues and clients than ever before without travelling interstate. I’ve seen more living spaces from those I work with than ever before.. quite refreshing actually!

For me, no day looks the same and each day provides something exciting and challenging! I cannot start my day without a morning walk, exercise and breakfast.

What does your workspace look like: My workspace consists of somewhere light and bright. Whether this be on my balcony with the fresh air or by the window indoors. All I need is my laptop, notebook, pen and water.

How does your workspace affect your creative process: Natural light, a temperature controlled environment and good tunes helps maintain my energy levels and focus.

Do you have a favourite playlist for work: Jack Johnson is always a winner for me. Positive yet not to intense as background music. My husband no doubt is completely over listening to JJ.

Who would you like to nominate for the next workflow interview: Debra Birks, A New Day.
