In this edition of Workflow, we have Lisa Johannsen, Event Director at DMSS Conference, talking about switching between her home office, cafes, and coworking spaces for her workflow.
Describe what you do: I manage DMSS Conference – a digital marketing skill share event – hosted annually in Bali. I’m managing the whole spectrum from partnerships to sales, from programming to finances, from project management to communications.
How do you like your coffee: Guilty: cappuccino addict.
Device(s) you use: Coffeemachine, record player and Mac book.
Describe your working style in one sentence: Flexible routine. I love to have the flexibility to plan work around my (outdoor) adventures – a rough schedule of the day however makes each day a little more productive.
What does your workspace look like: Sunny. Versatile. Flexible.
How does your workspace affect your creative process: Just as your home on your wellbeing and your travel destination on your happiness, my creativity and inspiration flow if my workspace fits my mood. I like to be flexible and switch between cozy cafes, quiet home office and buzzing coworking spaces.
Do you have a favourite playlist for work: Tash Sultana – on repeat.
Who would you like to nominate for the next workflow interview: Andrea D’Ottavio.
