In this edition of Workflow, we have Maria Gonzalez the Marketing Manager at specialist insurer Berkley Insurance Australia.
Describe what you do: I am a passionate creative marketer currently building the Berkley Insurance Australia brand. I run the marketing department in Australia for a specialist insurer who creates bespoke policies for insurance brokers. I love everything about marketing from designing advertisements to creating new strategies.
How do you like your coffee: I like a skim latte with an equal.
Device(s) you use: Laptop, iPhone and iPad.
Describe your working style in one sentence: Constantly thinking about new and better ways of doing things.
What does your workspace look like: It is organised just the way I like it. I always have a cup of tea or glass of water on hand, lots of note pads and colourful pens. I cannot work without my diary which is very old fashioned these days, but if it isn’t written down I will not remember to do it.
How does your workspace affect your creative process: I need to be in my own space to get in work mode. I am not one of those people who can work anywhere like a cafe or on the lounge. I like structure, it makes me very productive.
Do you have a favourite playlist for work: I live on the water so my playlist is usually listening to gentle tide and buzzing from passing boats.
