Describe what you do: I’m an entrepreneur, investor and podcast host. I’m the host of the top ranked business podcast, What Got You There. Cofounder of the nutrition bar company MCTco, investor and advisor in companies such as Kitu Super Coffee, Spero, GlobeKick and others. I’m the CEO and founder of Culture Finders which is a startup that will be coming to market soon!
How do you like your coffee: Obsessive about my coffee and currently drinking a special at home concoction cold brew which is a chocolate coconut blend. I drink it black or with a hint of coconut milk.
Device(s) you use: I use a 13-inch MacBook Pro, HP monitor, iPad with keyboard which I do a lot of reading on and iPhone X. Use the notes app, Evernote and Google Drive for most of my companies.
Describe your working style in one sentence: Mornings are my most productive hours so I’m very routine and protective of this time. I spend roughly two hours reading, thinking and writing ideas and what I’m learning.
Late mornings I spend another 2-3 hours doing more in-depth work or catching up on key tasks that need to be completed. In the afternoon I spend another 3 hours taking calls, e-mails, catching up on investors updates and driving overall strategy.

What does your workspace look like: My desk always has my computer, monitor, iPad, notebook, candle and at least one book. I have multiple bookshelves with a couple hundred books that I’m always picking off the shelf.
I’m a fan of art and have some of my favorite pieces in my office that inspire creativity and outside the box thinking. I like to have plants such as bamboo and bonsai trees and have multiple of them throughout my office. Another thing I enjoy is a warmer light when reading in the morning so I have Edison bulbs in my lamps.
Do you have a favourite playlist for work: My favorite artist to listen to is Ramin Djawadi. He does the soundtracks for shows such as Game of Thrones and Westworld and his music is perfect to have in the background. I also listen to Movie Scores for Better Test Scores on Spotify.
