Describe what you do: FanSaves is a mobile couponing platform that helps sports teams and organizations offer discounts and deals from their sponsors to their fans. As CEO, I am always all hands on deck, in the trenches with my team making sure we are growing, reiterating, and always learning.
Besides overseeing all aspects of the company, I have taken on managing the tech side of things (not actually coding myself but being the liason with our developers) and I also take care of the design and branding.
Fortunately, my co-founder Kris and I both have a background in sales and marketing so we’ve really been able to share that workload and he is also a great teammate and COO to have, ensuring everything is kept on track.
How do you like your coffee: I actually hate coffee. If I have to, I’ll drink tea but I much prefer colder drinks especially chocolate milk.
Device(s) you use: Android and PC.
Describe your working style in one sentence: I have two working styles. The first one is very diligent and focused, taking care of the task at hand, ensuring it gets completed and not stopping until it’s complete. When I get an idea or decide something has to be done, I will put all of my energy into it and not stop until it’s finished.
My second working style is almost the complete opposite and I think is a mechanism for me to avoid burnout, it’s a more laid-back style, which allows my creative juices to flow and is more laissez-faire que sera sera, whatever shall be shall be. Often times, this is when I come up with the cool ideas before I actually implement them and introduce my first working style back into the mix.

What does your workspace look like: Colourful, unique, fun.
How does your workspace affect your creative process: My workspace is very conducive to my creativity. I’ve never been one to have a plain desk with no personality and I love that my desk can be an expression of myself which allows the creative juices to flow more freely. My workspace is fun, but neat, and it allows me to be my most creative.
Do you have a favourite playlist for work: New Country or a Billboard Hits playlist, although I’d play the Backstreet Boys all day every day if I could (but I don’t because I know not everyone is as obsessed with them as I am).
